My Great Experience Buying John Lennon Sunglasses

John Lennon sunglasses are the cool, round sunglasses made popular by the late, great Beatle. They are sometimes often named tea shades, especially in Great Britain. John Lennon sunglasses became really popular and are often sported by various rockers today. I usually think of the Beatles front man wearing his John Lennon sunglasses in that famous photograph taken in Central Park, New York City. John Lennon was the definition of cool prior to being wrongly taken from us that painful night in front of his New York City apartment building.

Although they’re usually referenced with his name in front, John Lennon sunglasses were around before the Beatles musician started wearing them. They were originally, and often still, called tea shades. The rounded frames were well known sunglasses in Great Britain, where John Lennon grew up.

Are you searching for a pair yourself with no luck? I found that they can be really hard to find when you desperately desire to find a good pair. I feel like I often see them at those small island kiosks in the middle of the malls, but the last time I went down to my local shopping mall they were not found anywhere. I looked in all the popular chains also; Sunglass Hut, etc. But I just didn’t have any success finding them.

I wound up coming home and searching for a pair online. To my surprise there were plenty of outlets to choose from. Small sites that I never heard of, and online staples like ebay.com were selling the shades at all kinds of prices. The best bargains were at eBay, but the tea shades they were selling at the cheapest prices were really for used pairs. Maybe you’re find with that, but I’m not a fan of buying used things, so I had to fork over a few extra dollars to buy a great new pair of rocking eye wear.

The tea shades were shipped and arrived only 3 days later and they arrived just as they were pictured. I was anxious about them not looking normal, but they wound up being just fine. I knew that if I wasn’t pleased with them, the website’s return policy was a breeze. A refund would be issued, or they would send me a different pair of John Lennon sunglasses. All in all, the act of shopping for them through the web was a pleasurable experience. I still sport them all the time and they always make me feel kind of cool.
