I’ve always been a BIG fan of paintball masks created by Proto.
Asking any paintballer around, Proto has been one of the most respected names when it comes to creating the best paintball goggles around – may it be high end or low end.
And the Proto Switch EL paintball mask didn’t fail me in that respect.
That’s coming from someone who started paintball with paintball goggles that cost under $15! Needless to say, the quality of these paintball goggles is something that makes me frown and pull my hairs off. Renting paintball masks didn’t cut the job either!
You can’t always pick the mask that you rented a day before and you have to adjust with the new features of the paintball goggles you’re wearing. In simpler terms, it’s a pain not to have your own paintball mask and to have one whose quality is very low.
That’s why I’m very happy when Proto Switch EL paintball mask was released. Designed with a hole pattern all over, this paintball mask from Proto looks good and cool in my opinion. Not to mention there’s something more to those patterns than just visual appeal.
They’re designed to help keep your cool and breathe easily even under the MOST tiring and hot playing conditions. I’ve proven it myself.
After playing speedball from 9am to 4pm, never did I felt that my mask heated up nor did my breath especially around the mouth area. That’s something no low end paintball mask, like the ones I used that are priced under $15, could deliver.
One more thing I loved with Proto Switch EL paintball mask would be its foam. No, it’s not itchy, and it doesn’t slide of because of loose foam. My paintball teammates have this problem even with the MOST expensive thermal paintball goggles.
BUT I never had such a problem with Proto Switch EL paintball mask.
The Proto Switch EL paintball mask’s structure is flexible and comfortable enough for wearing and using it in the field hour after hour after hour. It also has a strap which is sturdy enough to keep the Proto Switch EL paintball mask in place yet it’s still comfy.
The 250 degree range of Proto Switch EL paintball mask is EXCELLENT! You can easily switch your eyes from one side to another, allowing you to keep up with what’s happening on your sides. It also extends all the way to the temple area so your peripheral view is there to assist you as well.
To put it in simpler terms, Proto Switch EL paintball mask is by far the BEST paintball goggles on the low end category.
I could go on and on about how every dime spent on Proto Switch EL paintball mask is a dime well spent.
HOWEVER, it’s best to check out an in-depth review of an avid paintballer who, just like you, doesn’t have the cash to spare for the expensive thermal paintball goggles.
