What’s really shocking is that a guy called William Bates, dead for over 70 years, actually found a way of fixing eyesight problems naturally during his lifetime and yet even now in 2009 the mainstream haven’t adopted his approaches. I’m writing this article in an attempt to ridicule the traditional approach to eye sight correction because to me it doesn’t make much sense.
When I had problems with my vision I took a logical approach to fix it. I knew I had three options to cure my eyesight at my disposal – the natural method, glasses (or contact lenses) and LASIK surgery. With these three options, I considered the positives and negatives, which I list below:
Laser Surgery
Positives – Quick eye correction
Negatives – possible blindness or blurriness, costs around $5000 dollars, regular inconvenient doctor visits post operation and risk of eye infections.
Glasses / Contact Lenses
Positives – Quick eye correction
Negatives – Eyes weaken over time and worsen, costs average of $500/year for contact lenses / new glasses.
Natural Method
Positives – Free, permanent solution, no side effects, no risk to eyesight
Negatives – It requires a bit of time
And What Did I conclude?
When I laid out the list like that, it was an absolute no brainer decision. I’ve got a solution staring at me in the face that I can start doing right now which has no side effects, no risk to my eyesight and the solution is permanent. I mean, seriously, why would you ever go with the other options without trying out the natural solution first?
The Bates Solution
So, I studied a publication that followed principles that Bates published so many decades ago. This involves a series of eye exercises designed to strengthen the muscles in the eye but also to strengthen the mental connection between the brain and the eye. I was performing exercises on a daily basis and I found myself starting to understand that signs that my eyes were giving me and therefore I was able to react accordingly. For example, if you’re working on a computer all day (which was my job) then you need to have something at a distance that you can focus on every 10 minutes or so – you only need to focus on this object for a few seconds, but it really makes a difference. I used to suffer from pretty sever eye strain, but this method alleviated that in no time.
I have to say I was pretty sceptical to begin with but when you actually read the methods and the logic of reasoning then it does seem to make a lot more sense. Within the month my eyesight had improved dramatically and I no longer needed to wear contact lenses.
So Why Don’t You Correct Your Vision Naturally?
The only possible reason I can think of as to why people don’t use the natural method is laziness. It takes a bit of work so therefore it’s not worth doing because people want things straight away. Really, though, It’s a crazy mentality because some things just aren’t worth messing with and eyesight is most definitely one of them!
Here’s What you need to do to correct your vision Naturally…
Having made the wise decision that you want to look into natural means of improving your vision, you’ll need to make sure you follow a guide with a proven track record for success. There are many natural eye correction programs out there, but only some follow Bate’s research and are commended for their success rate. I always recommend Vision Without Glasses as a family member had tremendous results with the program and it is regarded as having the best natural eye training program on the internet.
